You can choose up to 3 contacts from yourdevice's contacts list to send your emergency message to. If youchoose to, you can add your GPS location and a google maps linkwith your position marked on it to your emergency message.There are 6 predefined messages for different situations:* If there's a fire* If there's a burglar* If you are being kidnapped* If you had a traffic accident* If you are hurt* If you are lostYou can write your own emergency situation on a separete textfield too.For your location information to be added to the sms, you needto check the "Send my location" check box in the preferences.You must also allow your device to "Use GPS satellites" from the"Location and security" preferences of your device.Disclaimer: This application is presented as is, with noguarantee whatsoever. It will not work if you don't have receptionor a good view of a clear sky. Reception is needed for the messageto be sent and a clear sky view is needed for the GPS location. Itis more likely to work if you are lost in a hiking trip than if youare kidnapped and being held hostage in a basement. You must makealternative communications arrangements to ensure that you can makeemergency calls if needed. Please remember that Emergency Messageby itself does not send any information to any type of hospitals,law enforcement agencies, medical care unit or any type ofemergency services. It only contacts at most 3 people you choosefrom your contacts list.Do not worry about your location and contact data being stolen.Your location is sent only to people you choose from your contactslist.The application DOES NOT need android.permission.INTERNET whichis required for an application to connect to the Internet.
